1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing, accessing, or using the Rank Checker extension ("Extension", "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Extension.

2. Description of Service

Rank Checker provides SEO rank tracking tools that allow users to:

• Check website positions in Google search results
• Track ranking history over time
• Monitor multiple keywords and domains
• Analyze ranking trends
• Export ranking data

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

• You must provide a valid email address
• You must create a secure password
• You are responsible for maintaining account security
• One account per user

3.2 Account Responsibilities

• You are responsible for all activity under your account
• You must not share your account credentials
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use

4. Subscription Plans & Billing

4.1 Billing

• Pro plan is billed monthly on a recurring basis
• Payments are processed via SePay VietQR (Vietnamese bank transfer)
• Price is $5.99 USD per month
• Billing occurs on the same day each month

4.2 Cancellation

• You can cancel your Pro subscription anytime
• Access continues until the end of the current billing period
• No refunds for partial months
• After cancellation, you revert to Free plan

4.3 Refund Policy

• No refunds for partial months of service
• Refunds may be issued at our discretion for technical issues
• To request a refund, contact support@example.com

4.4 Price Changes

• We may change pricing with 30-day advance notice
• Existing subscriptions maintain current price until renewal
• You can cancel before renewal to avoid new pricing

5. Acceptable Use

5.1 Permitted Use

You may use the Extension to:

• Track your own website rankings
• Monitor client websites (with permission)
• Conduct competitive analysis
• Generate SEO reports

5.2 Prohibited Use

You agree NOT to:

• ❌ Abuse Google's search service
• ❌ Use the Extension for illegal purposes
• ❌ Attempt to reverse engineer the software
• ❌ Share your account credentials with others
• ❌ Exceed reasonable usage limits
• ❌ Use automated bots or scripts with the Extension
• ❌ Resell or redistribute the Extension
• ❌ Manipulate search results or rankings

6. Rate Limiting & Usage

To prevent abuse and comply with Google's terms:

• Free users: Limited to 10 keywords per day
• Pro users: Unlimited but reasonable usage expected
• We reserve the right to limit excessive usage
• Abuse may result in account suspension

7. Data & Privacy

• See our Privacy Policy for full details
• We do not sell user data
• Users own their ranking history data
• Data is stored locally on your device

8. Intellectual Property

• The Extension and all content are owned by Rank Checker
• You may not copy, modify, or distribute the Extension
• Brand names and logos are trademarks
• User-generated data (keywords, rankings) belongs to the user

9. Service Modifications

We reserve the right to:

• Update features and functionality
• Change or discontinue features with notice
• Modify these Terms with notification
• Suspend service for maintenance

10. Account Termination

10.1 By You

• You can close your account anytime
• Contact support or uninstall the Extension
• Data will be retained per Privacy Policy

10.2 By Us

We may suspend or terminate accounts that:

• Violate these Terms
• Abuse the service
• Engage in fraudulent activity
• Remain inactive for extended periods

11. Disclaimers & Limitations

11.1 Service "As Is"

• Extension is provided "as is" without warranties
• We do not guarantee 100% accuracy of ranking data
• Service availability is not guaranteed (99% uptime target)

11.2 No Affiliation with Google

• We are NOT affiliated with Google
• Google may block automated queries
• Use of Google Search is subject to Google's Terms

11.3 Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for:

• Inaccurate ranking data
• Service interruptions or downtime
• SEO decisions based on Extension data
• Third-party service failures (Better Auth, SePay, Google)
• Loss of data or rankings
• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

11.4 Maximum Liability

Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the last 12 months (maximum $71.88 for annual Pro subscribers).

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Rank Checker from any claims arising from:

• Your use of the Extension
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of third-party rights

13. Governing Law

• These Terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam
• Disputes will be resolved in Vietnamese courts

14. Changes to Terms

• We may update these Terms at any time
• Changes will be posted with a new "Last Updated" date
• Continued use after changes = acceptance
• Material changes will be notified via email
