2.1 Account Information

• Email address: Required for account creation and authentication
• Password: Securely hashed, never stored in plain text
• User ID: Auto-generated unique identifier

2.2 Usage Data

• Keywords you check: Stored locally to show in history
• Domains you track: Saved for convenience
• Ranking history: Results from your rank checks
• Search preferences: Settings like Google domain, language, depth

2.3 Subscription Data

• Plan type: Free or Pro
• Subscription status: Active, canceled, etc.
• Billing date: Next payment date for Pro users

3. How We Store Data

• Local Storage: All ranking history, keywords, and preferences are stored locally in your browser using Chrome's storage API
• Better Auth (Cloudflare Workers): Authentication data (email, PBKDF2-hashed password, session tokens) stored securely
• No Server-Side Storage: We do NOT store your ranking data on our servers

4. How We Use Your Data

We use collected data solely to:

• Authenticate your account and maintain login sessions
• Track your ranking history locally
• Remember your search preferences
• Provide Pro features if you have an active subscription
• Process payments via SePay VietQR

5. Payment Processing

Payment transactions are processed by SePay VietQR (Vietnamese bank transfer):

• We do NOT store credit card or bank account information
• Payments are made via VietQR bank transfer to our TPBank account
• We only receive confirmation of successful transfers via SePay webhook

6. Data Sharing

We DO NOT:

• ❌ Sell your data to third parties
• ❌ Share data with advertisers
• ❌ Track your browsing activity outside the extension
• ❌ Collect analytics or telemetry

We ONLY share data with:

• ✅ Better Auth (Cloudflare Workers): For authentication (required for login)
• ✅ SePay: For payment processing (only if you upgrade to Pro)

7. Third-Party Services

7.1 Better Auth / Cloudflare Workers (Authentication)

• Purpose: User authentication and session management via email verification
• Data shared: Email, password (PBKDF2-hashed), session tokens

7.2 SePay VietQR (Payment Processing)

• Purpose: Subscription payment processing via Vietnamese bank transfer (VietQR)
• Data shared: Email, payment amount (no bank details stored)

• Purpose: Performing rank checks
• Data shared: Search queries you initiate via the extension

8. User Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your data: View all stored data in extension settings
• Delete your account: Contact us to permanently delete your account and data
• Export your data: Export ranking history to CSV/XLSX
• Opt-out: Uninstall the extension to stop all data collection

9. Data Retention

• Local history: Kept until you manually clear or uninstall extension
• Account data: Kept while account is active
• Deleted accounts: Data removed within 30 days

10. Security

We implement security measures to protect your data:

• Passwords are hashed using industry-standard algorithms
• Authentication tokens are stored securely
• HTTPS encryption for all data transmission
• No plain-text storage of sensitive data

11. Children's Privacy

Our extension is not intended for users under 13 years old. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
